3 STAGES OF FILTRATION
The pre-filter is the responsible for filtering large particles in order to extend the life of HEPA filter. It can filter 56CMM of air flow.

In the situation report by W.H.O. dated March 15, 2020 they stated that "A WHO high-level technical mission concluded a visit to Iraq to support the Iraqi Ministry of Health in their COVID-19 prevention and containment measures. WHO is working around the clock to establish 3 negative-pressure [contagious respiratory disease isolation] rooms in Baghdad, Erbil and Basra to accommodate patients who might require more sophisticated medical treatment." Also, In the guidelines published last March 2020 with the title "Severe Acute Respiratory Infections Treatment Center" the World Health Organization states that UVGI cannot be a substitute for HEPA nor for NEGATIVE PRESSURE MACHINE "Because the clinical effectiveness of UV systems may vary, ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is not recommended for air management before air recirculation from airborne isolation rooms. It is not recommended as a substitute for HEPA filtration, local exhaust of air to the outside, or negative pressure, but it can be used as a complementary system." They are adding ductwork and HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filters to convert regular patient rooms to ones with negative air pressure suitable for patients with the highly infectious coronavirus."
